By registering for NAB Show, you consent to the following Registration Policies:
Age Limits
No one under the age of 16 is permitted in the Exhibit Halls or Sessions.
Audio / Visual Policy
By registering for NAB Show, you consent to NAB’s Audio / Video Policy.
- Photography and/or recording (including audio and video) during NAB Show is allowed for personal and private use only.
- Photos and/or recordings of Exhibits in the Exhibit Halls may require the permission of the Exhibitor.
- Photos and/or recordings cannot be copied, altered, sold, exhibited or further distributed without NAB’s prior written consent.
- Photos and/or recordings are the exclusive property of NAB. NAB retains the right to revoke consent.
- No disruptions due to photography and/or recording shall be allowed and violators may lose attendance privileges.
- Photography and/or recording are prohibited in NAB Show, sessions.
Badge Pickup Policies
Attendees:
To pick up your badge, photo ID is required. You can only pick up your own badge.
Exhibitors and Manufacturer Reps:
Individual Badge Pickup (Exhibitors and Manufacturer Reps):
- Exhibitors and Manufacturer Reps can individually collect badges at any registration location by presenting their registration confirmation and a valid photo ID.
- Group Badge Pickup (Exhibitors Only through Saturday):
- Group Badge Pickup is available during registration hours at any Full-Service Registration desk at the LVCC (only).
- Badges may be picked up in smaller batches or in their entirety by a registered exhibitor. Once picked up, that exhibitor is responsible for distributing badges to the respective registrants.
- Photo ID verification and proof of employment (i.e. a business card) will be required for pick up and reprints.
- Exhibitors may also pick up their Manufacturer Reps’ badges on their behalf. However, Manufacturer Reps can only pick up their own individual badges.
Code of Conduct
NAB Show Management is dedicated to providing a safe and welcoming experience for all NAB Show participants. To this end, NAB Show Management strictly prohibits any act that demeans, menaces, discriminates against, or harasses any NAB Show participant based on their sex, gender, gender identity or expression, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, color, national origin, ethnicity, religion (or lack thereof), creed, veteran status, technology choices, or other characteristic(s). Sexual language and imagery are not appropriate for any conference venue, including talks, workshops, parties, Twitter and other online media. While at the NAB Show or any related events, staff, sponsors, volunteers, vendors, NAB Show agents, speakers, attendees, exhibitors, media, and all other participants are prohibited from: demeaning, menacing, discriminating against, and/or harassing any individual at the NAB Show based on any of the afore-listed characteristics; engaging in any acts of violence; possessing any item that can be used as a weapon; possessing any illegal substance; smoking (other than in designated areas); and/or failing to obey any rule or regulation of the NAB Show or of the venue.
NAB Show Management expects all NAB Show participants to abide by this Code of Conduct at all conference venues and conference-related social events. If a participant engages in any prohibited or otherwise unacceptable behavior, NAB Show Management, in its sole discretion, may take any action they deem appropriate, including removing the violator from the NAB Show without warning and contacting the authorities as necessary. NAB Show participants who are removed from the NAB Show pursuant to this provision will not receive a refund of their admission fee. If you believe that you are the victim of or have witnessed any violation of this Code of Conduct, please report it to NAB Show Management located in room C102 in the Las Vegas Convention Center or by emailing support@nabamplify.zendesk.com. All determinations of violations of this Code of Conduct will be made in NAB Show Management’s sole discretion and such decision(s) are final.
Please know that NAB Show staff will be available to help participants contact venue security or local law enforcement, to provide escorts, or to otherwise assist those experiencing unacceptable behavior to feel safe for the duration of the NAB Show.
This Code of Conduct is without prejudice to NAB Show’s rights, all of which it expressly reserves. NAB Show Management further reserves the right to modify this Code of Conduct at any time and in its sole discretion.
COVID-19 Policies
NAB Show strictly follows COVID-19 safety procedures as contemplated by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the World Health Organization, the Occupational Safety and Health Administration, the State of Nevada, the City of Las Vegas, and any other governing Federal or local government agency.
During your attendance at the 2022 NAB Show, you will be required to support our COVID-19 Safety and Prevention Efforts; and strictly follow our COVID-19 policies and procedures. These policies and procedures may be modified at any time in advance of or during the 2022 NAB Show. NAB requires proof of full vaccination or proof of a negative COVID-19 test by all attendees, exhibitors and NAB staff participating at the 2022 NAB Show. It is recommended (but not required) that all attendees, exhibitors and staff wear masks indoors at NAB Show. Other COVID-19 policies and procedures may include but are not limited to personal sanitization, social distancing, and conducting health checks such as temperature screening and/or symptom checking. Please review our Health and Safety policies for full details.
If you develop, exhibit or experience any COVID-19 symptoms while attending the 2022 NAB Show, NAB Show will direct you to the designated quarantine area for further testing and instruction. Should you test positive for any COVID-19 symptom or fail any on-site health questionnaire, or as otherwise directed by NAB Show policy or procedure, you will not be admitted to the Exhibit Halls or any other area designated to the 2022 NAB Show, and you will not be entitled to any refund under any circumstances. NAB Show will not share your identity or personal health information with third parties unless required by law, regulation, governing rule, or court order.
COVID-19 WARNING, ASSUMPTION OF RISK, WAIVER OF RISK AND RELEASE OF LIABILITY AND INDEMNIFICATION FOR ATTENDING TO 2022 NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF BROADCASTERS (NAB) SHOW
- WARNING RELATED TO COVID-19 INFECTION
The novel coronavirus, COVID-19, has been declared a worldwide pandemic by the World Health Organization. COVID-19 is reported to be extremely contagious.
Evidence has shown that COVID-19 can cause serious and potentially life-threatening illness and even death.
As a result, federal, state, and local governments and federal and state health agencies recommend social distancing and have, in many locations, prohibited the congregation of groups of people.
It is not possible for NAB to prevent against the presence of the disease; and therefore, if you choose to attend the NAB Show you may be exposing yourself to and/or increasing your risk of contracting or spreading COVID-19. COVID-19 infection may result in personal injury, illness, permanent disability, and death.
NAB cannot prevent you from becoming exposed to, contracting, or spreading COVID-19 while attending the NAB Show.
The risk of becoming exposed to or infected by COVID-19 while attending the NAB Show may result from the actions, omissions, or negligence of you and others, including, but not limited to, NAB employees, volunteers, and NAB Show attendees, [list as appropriate] and their employees.
- ASSUMPTION OF RISK
I have read and understood the above warning concerning COVID-19. Attending the NAB Show is of such value to me that I accept the risk of being exposed to, contracting, and/or spreading COVID-19 in order to attend the NAB Show, and I hereby declare that I choose to accept the risk of contracting COVID-19 and I agree that I am personally responsible for my safety and actions while attending the NAB Show.
- WAIVER OF LAWSUIT/ RELEASE OF LIABILITY:
With full awareness and appreciation of the risks involved, I, for myself and on behalf of my family, spouse, estate, heirs, executors, administrators, assigns, and personal representatives, hereby forever release, waive, discharge, and covenant not to sue NAB its board members, officers, agents, servants, independent contractors, affiliates, employees, successors, and assigns (collectively the “Released Parties”) from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions, and causes of action whatsoever, directly or indirectly arising out of or related to any loss, damage, or injury, including death, that may be sustained by me related to COVID-19 whether caused by the negligence of the Released Parties, any third-party attending the NAB Show, or otherwise, while participating in any activity while in, on, or around the NAB Show and/or while using any facilities, tools, equipment, or materials.
- INDEMNIFICATION
I agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Released Parties from and against any and all costs, expenses, damages, claims, lawsuits, judgments, losses, and/or liabilities (including attorney fees) arising either directly or indirectly from or related to any and all claims made by or against any of the Released Parties due to bodily injury, death, loss of use, monetary loss, or any other injury from or related to my attendance to the NAB Show or use of any facilities, tools, equipment, or materials related to the NAB Show, whether caused by the negligence of the Released Parties or otherwise specifically related to COVID-19.
Data Collection
By registering for NAB Show, you consent to NAB’s collection and storage of the data on the registration form in the United States.
Badge Scanning: Please note: if your badge is scanned by an Exhibitor or Sponsor during NAB Show you are actively consenting to the transfer of your personal data to that company. You have the right to deny being scanned in order to keep your information private. If you later wish to revoke your data from that company you must contact them directly. If you believe you have been scanned against your wishes, please let us know at support@nabamplify.zendesk.com.
Email: You will have the opportunity to opt in to additional email communications through registration. NAB and its vendors, exhibitors and partners always treat your personal information with the utmost care and never sells or gives it to other companies without your permission. When we contact you by email, all email campaigns from NAB will contain instructions and/or hyper-links to Opt In or Opt Out (unsubscribe) of our email lists. From time to time you may see or hear of a company claiming to have data we’ve collected for sale or trade. These are scammers that are not associated with NAB in any way! You are encouraged to report these instances to the U.S. Federal Communications Commission.
NAB Member Registration
Registering at the NAB member rate is subject to membership verification.
Purchases from Show Floor
Get the best show deals directly from the show floor through our Show and Sell Program, allowing Exhibitors to sell products from their booth. Attendees are encouraged to purchase items right from the show floor as long as they pay 8.375% Nevada State Tax on the item. Attendees will also need to show their receipt upon exiting the show floor, locations TBA. For Exhibitor rules and regulations and more information on the program, click here.
Photography Disclaimer
From time to time, NAB Show, or its contractors record, photograph and/or stream the various aspects and activities of NAB Show, for both archival and promotional purposes. By attending NAB Show, attendees give NAB and its contractors’ permission to use any attendee’s voice and image in any such archival or promotional recording, photograph or streaming activity without any compensation or credit to the attendee.
Refunds / Cancellations
A cancellation fee of $75 will apply to all paid registrations. The cancellation deadline is March 28, 2022. All refund requests must be sent in writing to nabshow@maritz.com. No refunds will be given for cancellation requests received after the deadline*. New registrations received after the deadline are non-refundable. Please note that ticketed events and monorail are non-refundable.
NAB Show reserves the right to cancel any program and assumes no responsibility for personal expenses.
* Refunds and cancellations related to international visa denials are not subject to this cut off and effected registrants will have their registration fees refunded in full. Additionally, registrants unable to travel to the show as a direct result of Government Action in response to COVID-19 are not subject to this cut off and effected registrants will have their registration fees refunded in full.
Registration Verification / Changes
Changes to your registration can be made by calling (864) 208 -8418 Monday – Friday, 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. ET or emailing nabshow@maritz.com. Please clearly state to the customer service representative that you are already registered and provide your Badge ID number. You may also make changes online. Please choose the “Add/Edit events” option on the Dashboard. . You will need to be logged into your NAB Amplify account to regain access.
Student Registrants
Student registrants will be required to show a valid form of student identification to pick up their credentials on site.
Substitutions / Replacements
There is a $25 fee for substitutions. There is a $50 fee for badge replacements. Please note that ticketed events and monorail tickets will have to be repurchased.
Suitcasing/Outboarding
Suitcasing and outboarding rules and regulations pertain to the show floor, NAB Show public areas, the Las Vegas Convention Center and official Conference hotels.
NAB Show restricts Exhibitors from hosting or participating in competing or conflicting events or activities that occur during official NAB Show hours; this is considered “outboarding”. Exhibitors violating this policy will be subject to cancellation of their booth without refund and may not be invited to participate in future events.
NAB Show has a zero-tolerance policy regarding “suitcasing”. All marketing and promotion must remain within the contracted exhibit space. Marketing materials may not be placed on conference tables or other areas that are not within the boundaries of the booth, both inside and outside of the Exhibit Hall. Show Management reserves the right to remove individuals or discard display materials that do not comply with these guidelines.
