Precision Drone Flight Demonstration Using ATSC 3.0 RTK Datacast

Watch a precision food delivery drone flight demonstration that uses Real Time Kinematic (RTK) data from an ATSC 3.0 datacast to provide 100X more accurate navigation than GPS alone; from about 3 meters to 3 centimeters. This exciting new ATSC 3.0 datacasting solution has implications for many business applications including precision agriculture, construction, smart cities, autonomous vehicles, and drone deliveries. MBC, HancomInspace, CAST.ERA, Sinclair Broadcast Group, SK Telecom, and ETRI have all partnered to offer this exciting demonstration.
