Media cartographer and industry observer Evan Shapiro will deliver the keynote address for NAB Show New York. His presentation will focus on “What’s Next” for M&E.
The keynote will be held Wednesday, Oct. 25, at 10:30 a.m. on the stage in the Insight Theater.
Shapiro’s address will be immediately preceded by remarks from NAB President and CEO Curtis LeGeyt, who will also join him for the “What’s Next” discussion.
“Forget the crossroads, we passed them a while back,” Shapiro says.
“The media and entertainment industry faces an existential moment in its history with its infrastructure, business models and audience consumption behaviors all being disrupted.”
Known as media’s “official unofficial cartographer” for his visual charting of the industry’s continual evolution, he’ll use this keynote to lay out the next era of media, whether we’re ready for it or not.
But wait — there’s more ESHAP to come!
Shapiro will also sit down with Samsung Ads Global Head of Analytics & Insights Justin Evans on Wednesday to discuss The Televisioning of FAST.
This fireside chat is programmed for 11:45 a.m. in the Insight Theater. The duo will consider “what FAST needs to do to mature and grow into its full potential.”
At both NAB Show New York sessions, attendees can look forward to new research and insights, as well as Shapiro’s honest assessment of how the M&E industry can handle its next era. Register online now so you won’t miss it!
